An Austin man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly got in a fight and caused about $600 worth of damage to a garage door.

According to the police report, police responded to the fight at the 500 block of 11th Avenue SW and arrested Shane Postema, 22. Postema allegedly fought with a man and a woman. Postema damaged the lower two sections of a garage door. The woman tried to intervene and said she was thrown to the ground. Postema was placed on a 72-hour probation hold.
