Delores Ione Severson, 75, of Austin, Minn., died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.

She was born April 3, 1937, in Austin, Minn., to Alfred and Elizabeth (Mensink) Severson. Delores enjoyed listening to music and walks outside. She especially liked going for rides and having a banana as a treat.

Survivors include her sisters, Ruby Helgeson of Northwood, Iowa, Carol Preslnik of Rio Vista, Calif., Ardith (Carl) Vasey of Monticello, Iowa, Janice (Duane) Schaefer of Rose Creek, Minn., Cheryl (Darrell) Deets of Bonham, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Elizabeth, two sisters, Muriel and Dorothy; three brothers, Ronald, Harlan, and Myron.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
