AdvisorNet Financial and Blue Cross Blue Shield are co-sponsoring a seminar on the Affordable Care Act and what it means to businesses. The seminar will run from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday at the Austin Country Club. Cost is $15 per person. Guests must RSVP by Wednesday.

“It’s going to be a great seminar,” said Chuck Moline, president and CEO of AdvisorNet Financial in Austin. “It should be a subject of interest to most of the business people in the community.”

Talking points include whether businesses should keep their current employee health plan or replace it, and what penalties may have to be paid. Guest speakers Sen. Dan Sparks, DFL-Austin, and Sen. Julie Rosen, R-Fairmont, will address the crowd, followed by a question and answer period after.
