ADAMS — The Blooming Prairie volleyball team beat Southland (3-9 overall) by scores of 25-23, 25-19, 22-25, 25-22 in Adams Tuesday.

Taylor Hagen had 13 kills and 12 blocks for the Awesome Blossoms (5-3 overall) and Madison Worke had 38 set assists.

“It was a back and forth match all night,” BP head coach Gina McLaughlin said. “Southland made us fight for every point. There were a lot of long volleys and major hustle plays on both side of the net. It was nice to get into a match like this and come away with a win.”
