Nick Downey of Austin graduated with honors from WyoTech in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Aug. 22, earning a degree in motorcycle technology with off-road power. While at WyoTech, Downey worked on the WyoTech Hayabusa “Beat the Heat” drag racing team. Downey is the son of Kim and Sue Downey, Austin.
