ROCHESTER — The Austin girls soccer team got off to a slow start as it lost to Rochester Century (5-6-1 overall, 4-1-1 Big Nine) by a score of 3-1 Tuesday.

The Packers (6-5 overall, 2-4 Big Nine) didn’t get on the board until Carley Grunewald scored a goal with 16 minutes left in the game.

“The girls never gave up,” Austin head coach Enrique Camarena-Corzo said. “They just got down in the beginning and unfortunately we made a few mistakes.”
