LYLE — The Lyle-Pacelli volleyball team prevailed in five games over Grand Meadow (6-6 overall, 3-3 SEC) by scores of 22-25, 25-20, 25-17, 22-25, 17-15 in Lyle Tuesday.

Freshman Sarah Holtz had 15 kills and 11 digs and Ann Rysavy added 13 kills and 19 digs for the Athletics (5-9 overall, 3-2 SEC).

“The girls really stepped up their level of play,” LP head coach Lindsay Leif said. “Sarah, Ann and Bethany (Strouf) were all over the place on defense and Courtney Walter did a great job of covering ground and hustling.”
