Graduations

—Ryan Fett, of Lyle, received a bachelor of arts degree in accounting and management, magna cum laude from Luther College in spring 2012.

—Darrin Sellers, of Austin, graduated from Drake University with a bachelor of music in music performance in spring 2012.

—Kimberly Johnson, of Austin, earned a BA in elementary education from Bethel University in spring 2012.

—Tasha Striker, of Austin, earned a BA in Biblical and theological studies from Bethel University in spring 2012.

Military honors

—Dakota J. Montamye, of Hayfield, has joined the United States Army under the Delayed Entry Program. The program gives young men and women the opportunity to delay entering active duty for up to one year. Montamye graduated in 2008 from Hayfield High School. He will report to Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, Mo., for basic training in October.
