Earl Walter Weiland, born March 16, 1910, was just a couple months shy of his 102nd birthday when he joined the Lord.

There to greet him too was his precious daughter, Lorraine Paul; loving wife, Hilma; brother, Art; sister Hazel Post; parents, Julius and Bertha Weiland; and the many family and dear friends that have gone before him. Earl moved from his lifetime home in Minnesota in October 2011 to Virginia Beach, Va. He lived his final days and work of the Lord with family who loved, cared and treasured that short time with him.
After an amazing, full life, Earl went “home” Jan. 22, 2012.
A memorial service celebrating Earl’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin, Minn. Memorial donations may be made to St. Olaf Lutheran Church.
