An Austin man was arrested and jailed on Sunday after he allegedly punched a woman and briefly knocked her out.

Jorge Alfredo Ramirez, 25, of Austin, was charged Tuesday with felony third-degree domestic assault and gross misdemeanor domestic assault. According to the victim, Ramirez punched her at about 11:30 p.m. because she would not have sex with him. The victim claims she was knocked out for several minutes. Police spoke with the victim, who they say had blood on her chin, according to the complaint. Police then arrested Ramirez and took him to the Mower County jail.
