For three weeks, Echo Lanes has been in the process of remodeling.

Echo Lanes Bowling Alley owner Bob Grafing is spearheading a remodel for the bowling alley.

When Grafing bought the bowling alley in 2009, he said everything was gray, giving it a depressing feel. Not anymore.

With the “face lift,” Grafing hopes to have more customers and a better business.

“It’s one of the few family facilities that Austin has,” he said.

Grafing hopes to finish by Sept. 1.
