Before the holiday Wednesday, the Mower County board is squeezing in a 1 p.m. meeting Tuesday.

The board is set to hear a trio of conditional use permits: two permit requests for single-family dwellings and a request to rezone a commercial property.

The board will also ratify contract changes with the highway workers in the UAW and Local 867 unions.

The board will also hear from Amanda Stoa of the Safe Communities Coalition with a proclamation of July as speed awareness month.
