WWI touring exhibit making stop in Austin

The Honoring Our History World War I Traveling Exhibition will be making a brief stop in Austin Sunday before continuing on to Rochester.

The exhibit is currently on a 75-city tour featuring items and history on World War I. The stop in Austin will be at 11 a.m. at American Legion Post No. ­91 after a stop in Albert Lea at 10:30 a.m. and will be escorted by the Bell of Honor Motorcycle Riders.

The exhibit will then move on to Stewartville for a stop around 1:45 or 2 p.m. before stopping at Soldiers Field Veteran Memorial in Rochester where it will offer free public tours on Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
