An Austin man convicted of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, escaping from custody and fifth-degree assault pleaded not guilty to violating terms as a predatory offender.

Aurelio Gomez Gonzalez, 26, pleaded not guilty Thursday to the felony charge, which stems from 2008, when Gomez Gonzalez allegedly moved from the home he was listed under. Gomez was originally charged with four counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and one fourth-degree count in August 2003. According to the court complaints, Gomez Gonzalez, 18 at the time, left a party with an underage girl and sexually molested her in his car. He was convicted in that case in 2004 and escaped from custody that same year.

Gomez Gonzalez also hit a woman in 2007, shoved her into his car and made her ride with him until he stopped at a gas station, where the victim called police. Gomez Gonzalez was convicted of assault in 2008 in that case.
