Patricia “Patty” Lynn Hayden, 61, formerly of Hayfield, Minn., passed away on Jan. 27, 2012, at Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker, Colo.

Patty was born on June 8, 1950, in Hayfield the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth (Fiebiger) Fredrickson. She graduated from Hayfield High School in 1968. She moved to Rochester, Minn. and worked for Weber and Judd Pharmacy and the Mayo Clinic. Patty moved to Colorado in 1970, where she worked for Transcontinental Oil for more than 30 years. She married John Hayden on July 18, 1997. Patty enjoyed golf, bowling, and being with her family, friends and her beloved dog, Bacardi.

Patty is survived by her husband, John Hayden and stepson, Matthew Hayden, Parker, Colo.; mother, Elizabeth Fredrickson, Hayfield; two sisters, Kathy (John) DeMaria, Hayfield and Mary Beth (Jeff) Boomgaarden, Prior Lake, Minn.; two brothers, Stephen Fredrickson, New Richland, Minn. and David (Judy) Fredrickson, Minnetonka, MN; five nieces; two nephews; and two great-nieces. Patty was preceded in death by her father, Robert Fredrickson.

The memorial service for Patricia will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Second St. NE, with the Rev. William Kulas celebrating. Inurnment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church the same day.
