Austin Morning Lions Club President Gordon Kuehne presented a check to Paula Nuessmeier, district executive of Southern Trails District Twin Valley Council Boy Scouts of America. Boy Scout Sam Hagan from Boy Scout Troop 113 in Austin was also present to accept the award.

The Lions Club will also be hosting an upcoming fly-In breakfast at the Austin Municipal Airport from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, July 1. Guests can enjoy a breakfast of pancakes and Spam while viewing different planes that fly in from around the state.
