Dancers at the Jane Taylor Academy of Dance capped a busy season last Saturday.

The dance studio held its 48th annual recital on June 2 at Austin’s High School Knowlton Auditorium.

The dancers also received many awards at competitions this season. The dancers were awarded five top of the category and four platinum awards, 10 high gold awards, nine gold awards, and one high silver award.

At Starpower — scored on a scale of five stars — two routines scored 5 stars, two routines scored 4 3/4 Stars, five routines scored 4 1/2 Stars, and one routine scored 4 1/4 Stars.

The Jane Taylor Senior Company, Junior Company and Performing Company competed in multiple competitions this year, and performed in the 48th annual Jane Taylor Academy of Dance recital June 2.
