Each year, Camp Omega on Horshoe Lake near Waterville offers cleanup projects for any volunteers during Memorial Day weekend in exchange for a benefit. Participants get the opportunity to exercise by working at various projects while preparing the camp — part of the ministry of the Minnesota South District of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod — for prospective youth campers and educational summer activities.
