Austin native Eric Anfinson paints full time from his Mockingbird Studio in Key West, Fla.

Son of Jerry and Carol Anfinson, Eric is a self trained painter and his work is in collections throughout the United States and Europe. In a little less than a decade, Eric has produced a substantial body of work, notable for its authenticity, emotional power and unique vision.

His paintings focus on the human experience. Like other artists in history, he finds inspiration in the faces, figures, and interaction.

A prolific painter, Eric has had seven solo exhibitions since 2005 and participated in numerous group shows. ‘’Along the Edges of Beauty,” the book of Eric’s art was released in December of 2011.

The 250-plus page book of paintings provides the reader with an overview of much of his work along with an interview with the artist.
