Janet Marie Glover Blad, age 69 of Burnsville, passed away due to heart failure on May 1, 2012.

Janet was born to parents Russell and Florence Mortensen Glover on May 30, 1943, in Austin.

She attended Austin High School, graduating in 1961. She was married to Roger Blad on Aug. 26, 1971, and worked as a bookkeeper for Hoves Grocery Store and MSL Financial.

Janet liked to keep photo albums. She loved organizing parties and lunches with family and friends. She was a member of a Pepsi Collectors Club, with gatherings all over the mid-west.

Janet is survived by her husband, Roger Blad,Burnsville, daughter: Lisa Mitlyng Knight (Jeff), grandsons: Bradley and Samuel Knight, from Two Harbors, Minn. She’s also survived by her mother Florence Glover, sister: Floreen Harrison, brother Robert Glover, sister-in-law: Kim Glover, brother-in-law Tom Blad (Barb). Janet is also survived by many cousins, as well as nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

She is preceded in death by father, Russell Glover, and nephew, Thomas Kortz.

Services for Janet will be May 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. White Funeral Home in Burnsville is in charge of arrangements.
