ROSE CREEK — The Southland softball team lost 8-6 to Wabasha-Kellogg (11-9 overall) in Rose Creek Thursday.

The Rebels (7-10 overall, 6-10 Three Rivers) led 5-2 in the fifth inning, but couldn’t hang on.

Southland has now lost seven straight as it opens the postseason next week.
