The Austin City Council invites the public to attend the third Coffee with the Council on Saturday, May 12 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Mower County Senior Center, 400 Third Ave. NE, Austin.

The Council holds discussions to provide an informal opportunity for citizens to make suggestions, ask questions and express concerns. Council members encourage citizens of all ages to attend, and they plan to speak on current issues facing the city.

Coffees with the Council take place the second Saturday of each month from 9 to 10 a.m. at various venues throughout the city. The June Coffee will be held at Gymocha and July’s will be at the Coffee House on Main. For more information, call City Hall at 507-437-9940.
