Riverland baseball team closes tournament with two wins

The Riverland baseball team closed out its Crossover Tournament with two lopsided wins as it beat Hibbing 12-2 in six innings and topped Fon Du Lac 12-1 in five innings in Dick Seltz Field Saturday.
The Blue Devils (15-6 overall) out-hit their opponents 23-5 on the day.
Southland grad Chris May went 3-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and three runs on the day, Hayfield grad Tyler Krekling went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs, and Lyle-Pacelli’s Carter Guthmiller had 2 RBIs.
