The Hayfield Vikings fell to Stewartville 8-5 Tuesday in Stewartville.

Drew Streightiff took the loss for the Vikings giving up five hits and walking five.

At the plate though Streightiff was 1-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI.

“We played them pretty equal but the big stat of the day was we gave up eight walks and one hit batter,” coach Casey Krekling said.
