NORTHFIELD — The Packer boys golf team shot a season low score of 341 at the Northfield Invite Thursday.

Austin’s Alex Thorson had the second best score at the eight-team meet as he shot a 77.

“Our golf is showing areas of improvement, we now just need to see the improvements to hold tee to green for 18 holes,” Austin head coach Chris Gogolewski said. “If we’re driving well, putting may be off, if we are putting well, irons are giving us fits.”
