The Zeta Eta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa is participating in a food drive in conjunction with the MinnWi-Kota Region consisting of Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Dakotas.
“The efforts of a small group of people can make a positive impact,” said Jeremy Pasquale, president of Zeta Eta. “We are hoping that with the generous support of our college and communities we can make a big difference in the lives of others.”
Food drop off boxes will be located at both the East and West campuses of Riverland Community College in Austin, and at Riverland sites in Albert Lea and Owatonna. An additional food drop off box will be located at the Austin Hy-Vee. The collection of boxed, canned and non-perishible food items will be donated to the Salavation Army food shelf in Austin.
The Food Drive began Feb. 13 and goes through Feb. 22.
