WORTHINGTON — The Riverland women’s basketball team saw its season come to an end when it lost 81-51 at Minnesota West Saturday.

The Blue Devils (13-14 overall. 4-8 MCAC South) finished the season tied for fourth in the MCAC South with Fergus Falls, but they missed out on the state tournament due to a tie-breaker.

RCC shot just 25 percent from the field on Saturday, while West went 8-of-14 on threes.

“We just couldn’t buy a basket inside or out,” RCC head coach Suzy Hebrink said.
