The Austin boys hockey team was out-shot 54-16 as it lost 6-1 at Owatonna Saturday.

The Huskies (14-8-3 overall, 11-5-1 Big Nine) scored four times in the second period to take a 5-0 lead.

Austin’s lone goal came on a powerplay from Tyler Stevens on an assist by Preston Moe in the third period.

Rainer Londino-Green had 48 saves for Austin (4-21 overall, 1-15 Big Nine).

The No. 10 seeded Packers will open the Section 1A tournament at No. 7 Albert Lea Tuesday at 7 p.m.
