WELLS — The Hayfield girls basketball team closed out its regular season with a 39-32 win at United South Central (19-7 overall) Tuesday.

“It was a good defensive battle and we’re looking forward to the playoffs,” Hayfield head coach Fred Kindschy said.

Senior guard Alyssa Selk had 17 points for the Vikings (13-12 overall).
