ANOKA — The Rivlerand women’s basketball team couldn’t do much in the first half of a 68-49 loss to Anoka-Ramsey on the road Saturday.

The Blue Devils (11-11 overall, 2-5, MCAC South) mustered less than 17 points in the first half for the second straight game as they fell into a 26-point hole entering the break.

“We played a horrible first half, but in the second half we did a great job,” RCC head coach Suzy Hebrink said.

Austin grad Rebekah Aase led RCC with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
