A driver who was injured Saturday afternoon when her northbound car left Interstate 35 near the Geneva exit and struck a tree was released from the hospital later that day.
Amy M. Dobberstein, 21, of Waseca, was driving a 2008 Pontiac G6 GT, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. She was transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Her airbag deployed, and she was wearing her seat belt. Allen’s Tow-N-Travel hauled the car away.
The crash happened at 12:37 p.m., the State Patrol report says. It cites the road condition as dry.
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office assisted the State Patrol. Clarks Grove and Geneva fire departments also responded.
