Southland boys top Lewiston-Altura

The Southland boys basketball team opened strong in a 68-44 win over Lewiston-Altura (7-10 overall, 6-6 Three Rivers) in Adams Tuesday.

The Rebels (10-6 overall, 7-5 Three Rivers) jumped out to a 9-2 run to start the game and they led by as many as 17 in the first half.

“We pulled way little by little,” Southland head coach Jon Thalberg said. “The kids played hard and we played good defense.”
