State Sen. Mike Parry is hoping to win the hearts of Austinites Wednesday when he makes a campaign stop in town.

Parry, a Republican from Waseca, will be at the Mower County Senior Center on Wednesday for a meet and greet with area residents. He is vying to unseat Democrat Rep. Tim Walz in the U.S. Congress.

“It is time to send a leader to Congress who consistently represents our values both in Minnesota and in Washington,” stated an e-mail from Parry’s campaign.

The meet and greet will be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Mower County Senior Center.
