The Austin gymnastics team stayed unbeaten this season when it beat Faribault 137-126 on the road Thursday.

The Packers used the break to work on some new skills and they showed some of them off against the Falcons.

“Overall I’m happy with our progress. A couple girls really improved their routines tonight,” Austin head coach Mark Raymond said. “Rachel Quandt had a great meet tonight on floor and beam.”

Quandt scored an 8.3 on the beam and Abby Snater had an 8.3 on bars, which tied her with Carolyn Hackel for third.

Austin had the top four spots in the floor exercise as Abby Bickler and Sela Fadness had the top two marks.
