LEROY — One day after LeRoy-Ostrander’s Jessica Jennings missed a couple of key shots in a loss, she seized an opportunity for redemption in a 58-48 win over Houston (6-13 overall, 4-9 SEC) in LeRoy Tuesday.

Jennings poured in a bulk of her 21 points down the stretch as the Cardinals (15-5 overall, 12-1 SEC) pulled away late in the second half.

“Jessica caught fire at the end of the game,” L-O head coach Aaron Hungerholt said. “It was nice to see her bounce back after missing two big shots the night before.”
