The Austin girls hockey team lost its fifth straight game when it fell 5-2 at Rochester John Marshall Saturday.
The Packers (7-12 overall, 4-8 Big Nine) mustered just 22 shots on goal and the Rockets (11-9 overall, 9-4 Big Nine) started their scoring spree in the second period when they scored three times in 12 minutes.
“We played a really good first period, but once they scored in the second period, we kind of deflated a little,” Austin head coach Denny Bray said.
Allison Hoban had 26 saves for Austin.
