Albert Lea girls’ basketball coach, Sean Gillam, has been placed on paid administrative leave, pending the results of an investigation, according to Albert Lea School District Superintendent Mike Funk.

Gillam, who is also an English teacher at Albert Lea High School, was in his fourth year as the Tigers’ head coach.

A voicemail was left on Gillam’s cell phone but it has yet to be returned.
