The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team put up a good fight, but they lost at United South Central (6-1 overall, 4-1 Gopher) 38-33 Thursday.

The Awesome Blossoms (3-5 overall, 3-3 Gopher) had a chance to tie the game when they were down three late in the game but they were called for an illegal screen.
