Sue Ann Struthers, 60, of Adams, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, from cancer.

Sue was born Oct. 1, 1951, on the family farm south of West Bend, Iowa. She was the fifth child of Arnold and Lucile Struthers. She graduated in 1970 from Adams High School. After graduation, she worked as a nanny for several years in the Minneapolis area. She worked at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale for over 25 years in kitchen and housekeeping.

Sue liked ceramics, knitting, crocheting, baking and gardening. She was known for her green thumb.

Sue is survived by brothers: George Struthers (Linda Cooper) Adams, Dean Struthers, Adams, Joe (Rachel) Struthers, Minneapolis, Merlin Struthers, Owatonna, DeWayne Struthers, Owatonna, Ivan Struthers, Eyota; sisters: Susan Struthers, Owatonna, Nancy (Lowell) Williams, Rochester; sister-in-law: Joann Struthers, Kellogg; nieces and nephews: Bill Struthers, Laurie Fiejo, David Williams, Christina Smith, Anna Struthers, Amy Grabau, Andrew Struthers, Mary Struthers; great-nieces and nephews: Dustin, Derek, Olivia, Brandon, Molly, Devon, Hannah, Jeremiah, Eve, James, Katie, Emily, Hanna, Grace, Ricky, Lily and Savannah; aunt: Elmira Struthers, Pocahontas, Iowa, and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Andy and nephew, Todd.

A celebration of Sue’s life will be 2 p.m. Dec. 31, 2011, in the Chapel at Ironwood Springs Christian Ranch, 7291 County Road 6 SW, Stewartville, MN 55976.
