ST. PAUL, Minn. — St. Paul police are asking for the public’s help in finding the man who robbed and tied up a 90-year-old woman in her home.
The woman called police Friday evening to say a man who entered her home through an unlocked door, pointed a gun at her and demanded money.
The woman told police she gave the man a small amount of cash. The man reportedly then tied up the woman before he left. She says she was able to free herself about the same time that a relative arrived.
The woman was not hurt. The robber wore a ski mask and is described as a 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8 man with a medium build who appeared “younger” to the victim. Investigators believe he may be from the woman’s neighborhood.
