The Austin boys swimming and diving team opened its season with a 91-79 win at Albert Lea Friday.

The Packers had the top finisher in 11 of the 12 events.

Austin junior Nick Brehmer took first in the 200-yard and 100-yard freestyles, freshman Sawyer Myers took first in the 200-yard individual medley, junior Carson Hackel took first in the 50-yard freestyle, senior Caleb Bentley took first in diving, eighth grader Craig Heimark took first in the 100-yard butterfly, sophomore Ian Christopherson won the 500-yard freestyle, and junor Chris Brown took first in the 100-yard breaststroke.

The 200-yard medley relay team of Hackel, Brown, Heimark, and Jordan Bentley took first, the 200-yard freestyle team of Heimark, Christopherson, Brown and Brehmer took first and the 400-yard freestyle team of Brehmer, Christopherson, Jordan Bentley and Hackel took first.
