The American Red Cross, Mower County Chapter is offering babysitters’ training for 11- to 15-year-olds from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011. The American Red Cross babysitters’ course can help you:

—Care for infants and children.

—Be a good leader and role model.

—Make good decisions and solve problems.

—Keep the children you babysit and yourself safe.

—Handle emergencies such as injuries, illnesses and household accidents.

—Write resumes and interview for jobs.
