Debra Kay Charnecki, 43, of Austin, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Debi was born Jan, 5, 1968, in Austin to Larry and Velma Charnecki. She grew up in Austin and attended Austin High School. Debi enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a caretaker and was always looking out for her family. Debi enjoyed going out to movies and concerts. Her favorite things included scary movies, Halloween, Scooby Doo, Dr. Pepper and music, especially Elvis and Kid Rock. Debi loved her many dogs over the years.
Survivors include her parents, Larry and Velma Charnecki, Austin; siblings, Dennis (Connie) Charnecki, Austin, Duane (Fran) Charnecki, Austin, David (Ann) Charnecki, Beloit, Ill., Daniel Charnecki, Austin, Darla Charnecki, Austin; nieces and nephews, Michael Loeding, Kevin Eastburn, Dustin Grothe, Sarah Klawitter, Michelle Charnecki-Carranza, Christopher Charnecki, Holly Charnecki, Haley Charnecki, Dylan and Hunter Charnecki; many uncles, aunts and cousins. She will be greatly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Frances Charnecki, John and Ella Kruegar; aunts, Anna-Mae Whetstone, Louise Cassidy, Vera RaForth; uncles, Dale Kruegar, John Kruegar; cousins, Michael Whetstone, Walter Kruegar.
A visitation will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at Mayer Funeral Home.
