The Austin Area Art Center is inviting all local artists to become a member of the Art Group for the year 2012.

The Art Center has been serving the Austin area for more than 50 years. They believe art is a vital component of building a strong economic and cultural community in Austin and the surrounding area. The art gallery offers exposure for local and regional artists of all skill levels to exhibit and sell their artwork. And there isn’t a better time to join. By joining now, you would be included to show any of your artwork, space permitting, during the busiest show of the year, the Holiday Fine Art and Craft Extravaganza and receive the rest of 2011 as a bonus membership. To make things even better, if you join before Jan. 1, 2012, you can invite a friend to join for free. The AAAC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization who’s purpose is to promote the practice and appreciation of the creative arts to the greater community. All funds generated by the organization will be used in the pursuit of this purpose.

The growth and success of the Austin Area Art Center depends on the participation and contributions of our members, as it is an all volunteer organization. Opportunities range from serving on committees of fundraisers to program development, to volunteering for various events. Members are the core of the Austin Area Art Center.

The AAAC is located in the Oak Park Mall in Austin, MN, with regular business hours 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
