Memorial services for Gail Ann (Randall) Jorgenson, of Albert Lea, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dwight Netzer will officiate. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Gail died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at her home, due to complications of Oslo-Weber Syndrome, also known as HHT. Gail has courageously battled this disease for over the past decade.

Gail Ann Jorgenson was born Aug. 20, 1965, to Roger (Red) and Helen (Schroeder) Randall in Albert Lea. She was raised in Albert Lea and attended Central High School. On Aug. 16, 1997, Gail was united in marriage to Steve Jorgenson at Catherine Island in Albert Lea. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Grace Lutheran Church, and Austin VFW. Gail enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, family camping trips, fishing with her daughter, conversing with friends and family on Facebook, and challenging her skills on games like Pogo and Trivial Pursuit, and watching Survivor.

Survivors include her husband, Steve; her children: Matthew Niesen of Brainerd, and Jazzmyn of Albert Lea; sisters: Carol and her husband Jay Jolly Sr. of Albert Lea, Barbara and her husband Wayne Thorpe of Bricelyn, and Penny and her husband Randy Schultz of Albert Lea; brother and sister-in-laws: Steve (Dorothy) Olson of West Jefferson Lake, Tom Gallagher of Austin, Suzie Gallagher of Atlanta, Ga., Sally Gallagher of Mankato and Jeannie and her husband Tom Ferguson of Rose Creek; nieces and nephews: Victoria Burt and her son Travis of Mankato, Jennifer and her husband Christopher O’Brien and their children, Zachary, Megan, and Peyton of Janesville, Stacey and her husband Keith Michels, and their children, Kaitlin, Briahna, and Stephani of Mankato, Adam and Alyssa Olson of Mankato, Shannon Risnes and Travis Williams and their children, Hayleigh and Ashton of Hartland, Marlin (Buck) Risnes and his children, Joey, Brayton, McKayla and Jared of Albert Lea, Ashley Randall of Albert Lea, William Thorpe of Bricelyn, Samantha, Kenneth and Casey Schultz of Albert Lea; uncles: Raymond Schroeder Sr. of Stewartville, Duane (Miriam) Schroeder of Albert Lea and Niles (Naomi) Randall of Ocala, Fla., and many, many cousins.

Gail was preceded in death by her mother; daughter, Courtnee Marie Niesen; sister, Dorothy Olson; niece, Ann Broitzman; grandparents: Myron and Louise Randall and Henry and Luella Schroeder; mother- and father-in-law, Marilyn (Jorgenson) Gallagher and Dale Gallagher; uncles: Darrell and Paul Schroeder; aunts: Nancy Bronson, Irene and Joyce Schroeder and June Taylor; cousins: Karen Luster, Harold Jurgens Schroeder and Kathy Maricle.

Gail will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
