Rhonda Tunison, 61 of Hayfield, Minnesota died Saturday morning, Oct. 29, 2011, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin.

Rhonda Jean Lewis was born Jan. 11, 1950, in Austin, Minn. to Robert C. and Mina L. (VanEpps) Lewis. Rhonda grew up mostly in the Austin area, later moving to Colorado, then to Washington, Wyoming, and settling in Hayfield. Rhonda loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed animals, gardening, sewing, baking, cooking, and talking on the phone.

Surviving are her children, John (Dee) Sheetz of Wyoming, Tressa (Ron) Hodges of Hayfield; grandchildren, Cody Sheetz and Alex Sheetz, both of Albert Lea, Amanda Hodges of Hayfield; great grandchildren, Lailah, Logan, Kaylee, Madison, Austin, Dante; sisters, Jackie (Richard) Christgau of Austin, Connie (Al) Rempke of Colorado, Linda Brazell of Colorado, Mara Ruff of Colorado, Robin (Dennis) Stenzel of Delavan, Kathy (Glen) Goodell of the Twin Cities, Didi (Rick) Morrison of Austin; brothers, Bob (Kathy) Lewis of Claremont, Wain (Paulette) Lewis of Austin, Tom (Joyce) Lewis of Rochester; stepmother, Cathy Lewis of Austin; special friends, Frosty Miller, Jan Duncan, Louise Lingbeck, Carol Earl,

Joann Unger, LaVonne Dearmin. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mina Asmus, father, Robert Lewis, husband, John Tunison, friend, Del Lingbeck. Rhonda has asked for no public funeral service. Private family service will be held at a later date.
