Bruins top Minot 5-2

The Austin Bruins fired off 51 shots on goal as they topped Minot (1-8 overall) 5-2 on the road Friday.

For the second straight game, five different players scored goals for Austin (3-2-1 overall).

CJ Smith tied the game up at one in the second period, John Kirby scored to make it a 2-1 game and Christian Folin, Trevor Waldoch and Jonathan Gehrt all added insurance goals in the third period.

Tyler Bruggeman picked up the win in net for Austin as he finished with 27 saves.
