The Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys are celebrating their 100th anniversary at Tweite’s Pumpkin Patch in Byron this Saturday.
And in honor of the Scouts, Tweite’s has offered something special this year. Its yearly corn maze is designed from the Girl Scouts’ trefoil symbol and features the number 100 with the words “girl scouts” underneath.
The Girl Scouts and their families will get to peruse 22 acres of entertainment, which among the maze and pumpkin patch features a storybook land, castle, enchanted forest, mini golf concessions and more.
In addition to Girl Scouts Centennial Kickoff Day on Sept. 24, Tweite’s Pumpkin
Patch (1821 Frontier Road SW, Byron) will be open Oct. 1 to 23, 2011, seven days a week, 10 a.m.–5:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.tweite.com.
