The Riverland volleyball team lost at Ridgewater by scores of 25-16, 25-8, 25-20 Saturday.

Austin grad Rebekah Aase had eight blocks and four kills for the Blue Devils (0-12 overall).

“Even though the score doesn’t reflect it, we stepped up to the challenge,” RCC head coach Sara Heim said. “We ran a fast offense and really were scrappy on defense. We really clicked as a team.”Robin Arjes had six kills for RCC, Brittney Dahl had 10 assists and Laura Hemann had eight digs and two aces.
