The Riverland volleyball team lost a pair of matches in two games in La Crosse Wednesday.

The Blue Devils (0-3 overall) fell to Western Wisconsin Tech 25-17, 25-19 and lost to Viterbo’s JV 25-6, 25-14.

“It definitely was an eye opening experience for our first year players to identify the fast pace of the game,” RCC head coach Sara Heim said. “Our defense really shined against WWT, but it was too late to gain the momentum and fight back for a win.”
